Game Designer Day and Rocky Mountain Protospiel (June 10th – 1:00pm-9:00pm) – Petries and Toresh Games are bringing together Petrie’s Game Designer Day and the country’s best game design forum (a Protospiel) to the Rocky Mountain region.
Designing a tabletop card or board game is a real challenge, but getting a well-designed game published can be immensely satisfying! At Game Designer Day and Rocky Mountain Protospiel amateur and established game designers can get together to test and promote game prototypes in a supportive and cooperative environment. This casual event is based on sharing experiences and insights toward the goal of publishing a tabletop card or board game. Games in all stages of completion are welcome. It doesn’t matter what level of polish your game has.
Even if you are just a gamer who likes to try out new things, then Game Design Day and Rocky Mountain Protospiel is likely to be a great experience. You will get to see new designs before they are published, plus you will get to help shape the games before they hit the shelves of stores or the pages of Kickstarter.
Anyone is welcome to participate, but designer slots are limited. It is recommended that you sign up in advance to reserve a slot to present your prototype. To reserve a slot email either Cameron Crawford from Petries (PetriesFG@gmail.com) or Thomas Shepherd from Toresh Games (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Remember: Tested games are more likely to be awarded success and eternal glory!
The world of tabletop board games is very insulated into small groups. Please help us reach your group so nobody misses out. Thank you!
